Dancing In His Presence

Ladies Retreat 09-137Hey, Girlfriends! Kerin Clement here . . .

Saturday night at retreat was such a precious time dancing in the Presence of the Lord, wasn’t it?  I can think of nothing better than soaking in His Presence, and He so graciously invited us to do just that.  I love His embrace.

Isn’t it exciting to know that dancing with Him that Saturday night was only the beginning of something new in all of us?  It wasn’t just coincidence that in our “renaming things” game, just about every team “saw” that there were possible portals or passages to other worlds.  As we dance, or spend time face-to-face and heart-to-heart with Him, we are led out of this world and into His Kingdom realities.

Ladies, the Holy Spirit is talking to us.  He is affirming to us that our child-like desire to find a portal, and encounter “another world” is actually a gift from Him.  He gives us the desire to see His Kingdom here on earth as it is in Heaven.  The longing to leave the stuff of this world and find the place of His Presence is from Him, and he isn’t going to keep from us that which He has given us a longing for.

We know that being close to Him, dancing in His Presence, is the longing of our own hearts but how often have we realized that it is also the cry of His heart?  Jeremiah 29:13 (NKJV) reads, “You will find me,” says the Lord, “when you seek me with all of your heart.”  In other words, God is telling us, “Look for me, pursue me—I want you to pursue me.”  As A.W. Tozer says, “God waits to be wanted.” Imagine again the possibilities!  (Captivating, A guided Journal, by John & Stasi Eldridge).

The Holy Spirit is daily, eternally extending His hand, saying, “My darling, my dove, my I have this dance?” To belong to Him is a divine romance of the heart, a wooing into deeper encounters with the mysteries of His love.  Rise up, beloved of God and join Him in the Dance!.  Turn up the music and imagine the possibilities!

Love you all, Kerin
